GREGORIAN MALL, Albay, Legazpi City

The groundbreaking for the construction of the mall took place in November 2014.

Opened last October 27, 2016, Gregorian Mall was located near the Penaranda Park and St. Gregory the Great Cathedral. The site of the mall was formerly a basketball court and a part was occupied by the Legazpi City Police Station and Fire Station on the back, as far as I can recall.

The Gregorian Mall was built by Whole Grain Land Inc. (WGLI). Thru private-public partnership, the course of action permitted the city government not to spend a solitary centavo for its development.

Serving as another leisure spot for the bicolanos, this new mall will definitely add to the growing economy of the city. The mayor said it will provide at least 700 additional employment opportunities, especially for the Albayanos.
Stores opened: McDonalds (with drive-thru) and Max’s Fried Chicken
